Key components in the management of Central Precocious Puberty (CPP) – Live Webinar Series

CPP is a recognizable disorder which, with knowledge, skill and experience, can be managed effectively. The webinar series will inform pediatricians and pediatric endocrinologists how to recognise patients with CPP, and how to identify CPP amongst the wide variations of pubertal development (Bräuner, 2020). Once identified, does the patient with CPP need urgent therapy or a more conservative approach of careful observation? Key aspects of the child with rapidly advancing CPP will be clearly explained and demonstrated. The timing and initiation of GnRHa therapy will be discussed, with presentation of evidence comparing 6-monthly with 3-monthly and monthly administration. The three webinars will be live-streamed, with opportunities for the audience to ask questions and to interact with the Chair and presenters. After each live-stream, a recording of the webinar will be posted online and will be available globally as a free, open-access resource on the MedEA e-learning platform for up to a year after launch.
